Kolhapur Dream Team Foundation, established in May 2021, began with a group of childhood friends in Kolhapur who wanted to make a difference during the second wave of COVID-19. Seeing families struggle outside hospitals, they used their pocket money to buy breakfast for patients and their families. This small act of kindness quickly grew, and with community support, they soon fed hundreds at a COVID center, even hiring a chef whose business was impacted by the pandemic. Guided by their mentor, Dr. Pramod Chougule, the foundation has since expanded its efforts, continuing to make a significant impact in various domains through compassion and teamwork.
